These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Terrance, an SMS-based personal assistant operated by Terrance AI LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By signing up or using Terrance, you agree to these Terms.
Terrance is a personal assistant you interact with via SMS. It can create calendar events, send emails, manage tasks, set reminders, and read information from your connected Google account — all through plain-English text messages.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. By using Terrance, you represent that you meet these requirements.
To use Terrance, you must authorize access to your Google account (Calendar, Gmail, and Tasks). You can revoke this access at any time via myaccount.google.com/permissions. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by texting "Pause Terrance" or by emailing help@terrance.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access through that date.

By signing up, you consent to receive SMS messages from Terrance at the phone number you provided. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Terrance is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular action will be completed successfully. AI-generated responses may occasionally be incorrect — always verify important information independently.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Terrance AI LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed appointments, unsent emails, or data loss. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Terrance AI LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via SMS. Continued use of Terrance after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the service. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Colorado.
